First Web Workshop Complete

2009 February 11
by mark

Myself and Gareth Edwards completed our first Web Workshop at the B2B Centre today.  3 companies attended the Workshop and were a good chatty group despite being first victims to got through the workshop and suffering bad traffic on the A46.  We had NewMacho, Solreka and Live and Learn Homestay attend, all were at different levels of emarketing with their business.

Things I’d think about changing next time -

  • more real life examples
  • a more hands on approach with Analytics and other web tools
  • more social media coverage.

I attended the Web workshop, and I have to say to anyone thinking about booking, that the course is a must.

All aspects of website development were discussed, from SEO right through to adwords.

Now it’s time to implement some of the stuff I learned.

As a suggestion Mark, perhaps the course could be extended over a 2 session period. One session asking the group collectively what they would like to learn, then teaching about those apps.

Second session spent purely on hands-on examples and how to implement/action apps.

I changed my gravatar image, hence no image on previous comment.

I can’t be having a comment without gravatar image – sacrilege. Best remedy matters, hence this comment :-)
